Strange email baffles jilted business manager

Meet Kathleen Ciulla. She's a hair stylist and manages a place called Salon Picasso in Carefree.

Ciulla says she recently got a call from a man calling himself nick khan, a salesman who wanted Ciulla to advertise in his new magazine called Desert Secrets, a publication he was starting up.

"We'd be absolutely crazy not to do this," Ciulla said.

The cost for the ad?

"Roughly around $1500 was the cost of the ad," Ciulla said.

It was a lot of money but Ciulla says everyone in the salon kicked in about $100 to pay for the $1500 ad, but that wasn't a problem.

"We were excited it was all done and we were told it would go to print on October 15," she said.
